Quotes

"Karnivrous sound like an ancient god being awoken in slow, destructive motion.”
“They bring mythic darkness into the pit — it’s terrifying and awesome all at the same time."

Bio

Karnivrous is a four-piece Death (core/groove) entity channelling monstrous aggression through groove-drenched riffs, massive breakdowns and bleak, atmospheric dissonance.Their music is a descent into the void — inspired by ancient horrors, shifting realities, and the things that lurk just beyond perception. Karnivrous crafts sonic rituals meant to unnerve, enthral, and consume.Hailing from the dark depths of London & Kent, England, they conjure sonic nightmares from the shadows of cosmic horror. Their sound is an unholy hybrid — fusing savage Deathcore brutality with the technical intricacy of progressive metal and a groove-laden foundation that hits with tectonic force. But Karnivrous is more than just their sound — they are a vessel for storytelling rooted in madness, myth, and the monstrous. The band’s thematic identity is deeply inspired by unknowable horrors of the monster mythos, and the shape-shifting spirits of Japanese folklore. Their lyrics unravel tales of crumbling reality, ancient deities clawing through dimensions, and beings too grotesque for the human mind to comprehend. Wrapped in a bleak and ritualistic aesthetic, Karnivrous invites listeners to peer behind the veil — and dares them not to flinch. Each member of Karnivrous contributes to this vision - Jacobi [Drums] unleashes thunderous drums that drive chaotic tempos, guttural vocals from Wozz [Vocals] that deliver cryptic verses, dissonant guitar riffs twisted by Vinny [Guitar] changing melodies into writhing forms, and the melodic dissonant partner to his rythm that Paul [Bass] shapes, crafting deep rumbles with subterranean menace. Their live performances are immersive rites — raw, cinematic, and drenched in intensity.Their most recent E.P. release, "We Let Them In", is a descent into madness — tracks like “Kaiju” and “As the Seas Boil” have earned underground praise for their originality, aggression, and world-building. As Karnivrous continues to carve its path through the shadows, one thing is certain: the horrors they summon are only just beginning to take form.Karnivrous is not just a band. It is a rupture in reality.
